Which Mounting Style? Copperlab's vents come in two different mounting styles. The flush mount should be purchased if the siding of your building is already installed, or if your building is brick or stone. The stucco mount model has a flashing and is meant to be installed prior to the siding installation. This mount can best be used with stucco, or wood / vinyl siding (stucco mount vents must be installed underneath siding and water-proofing).

It was exactly what I wanted. I live in southern California and get a lot of sun exposure. This has no problem in the sun and looks good as well.
Great company to buy and work with.
It was robust and worked well, no surprises. It was built with quality in mind.
Exactly what I ordered. Thank you
Looks and performs exactly as advertised. And the customer service at copperlab was helpful in describing the sizing, etc. I highly recommend this product.
Purchased the stainless version. Looks good (seams polished well on mine) and works as described. Did need to modify slightly to work with our brick house but overall nice. Would purchase again.
Actually imported 3 of these into Canada as I could not find anything except cheap plastic vents which eventually warp and stick open. I am very happy with the quality and especially how neat these vents look on my house.
The copper vent I ordered and installed was worth the cost. You definitely 'get what you pay for.' Thanks!
First time Internet purchase local fabricator on vacation needed to retrofit vent for client
Pleased with everything really all connections and details work/look well will buy more vents in the future had to custom order over sized vent line
Customer service was good
Dryer vent looks good and louvers work well. Only comment is on the outside finish, discoloration at corners seams. Maybe weathering will smooth it out.
Purchased this vent in stainless after looking at all the plastic ones in the hardware stores. Contractor said it was a very nice well built vent and had no trouble installing it, and it looks good too. Would recommend.
I have purchased this copper vent before and would purchase again if needed. Nice product.
I am doing some work for a customer who loves copper and he is so excited to have these vent pieces. Good quality and appearance. I will continue to shop here
I bought the flush mount stainless steel vent. It is made of higher quality material than 95% of the vents you see for sale everywhere else. It does not have a perfect surface finish on it i.e. shows signs of raw stock stainless steel sheet being used without much surface rework to a polished state. There were no gouges or scrapes on the surface but discolorations from clamping or from the original raw stock were evident. If I had fabricated the vent myself I would have probably put the extra time and expense into polishing out any surface imperfections or put a brushed finish on it. It probably would be more expensive if the surface was done to perfection. But it is just a dryer vent so perfection is probably overkill!
Fair craftsmanship . Terrible welding and polishes stainless was FAIR at best, SORRY. I'd probably be ok if it was about $50.00
Response - Sorry you are disappointed with the craftsmanship. We "solder" our vents. We do not weld. That is why you do see some solder joints on our products. We always use 316 grade stainless steel sheet metal for our stainless steel vents. Thanks.
Vent was nicely crafted and fit perfectly. Much nicer than the plastic vents and will last much longer. Worth the extra cost.
I must have received a not so good dryer vent. I thought it was expensive for the "so so" quality. Each louver was not all the same length, and there is about a 1/4" gap in one of the louvres. Maybe the one I got skipped quality control.
Copperlab Response: I am very sorry to hear about your vent. All our parts are cut using a waterjet machine and assembled by hand. Please contact us with a phone of your problem and we can assist in determining weather the issue you are speaking of is part of the design or a manufacturing defect. Thanks.
Look good and good quality. Sprayed a clear coat on them so that the look last. Would buy them again.
If you think short-term it's a lot of upfront money for an exhaust vent. but...if you look at and consider the long-term craftsmanship/aesthetic appeal you'll agree that it's worth every penny! i am totally happy with the purchase. thank you.
We converted a main floor bedroom to a laundry/utility room. The dryer vent had to be to the front of the house. On the red brick exterior wall it blended right in, very attractive, actually.
I needed a vent I would never need to replace, and this fits the bill. Nicely constructed and easy to install. It matches my patio lights and blends in well with the stucco wall.
Nicely constructed and very low profile. Touched them up with a little Brasso after installation to even up the tone. In my salt air marine environment, these are the perfect fit.
This vent is nicely detailed and worth the price. I'm located in Hawaii and the shipping was prompt and without trouble. Thank You. I will definitely buy products here again.
I used this to add an exhaust fan to a second story bathroom. My walls are stucco over original cedar siding. Drilling the 4" hole through the stucco at the top of an extension ladder was a challenge to start with. Unfortunately I neglected to look closely at the CAD drawings provided and discovered when the vent arrived that it needed a .4" rectangular cutout on the stucco surface in order to mount flush.
The drawings call out 4.5" x 4.5" for the rectangle. Mine was actually 4.75" x 4.5".
A multitool and careful chiseling did the trick and the mount was perfect.
The louvers function well with the minimal fan CFM output.
Overall I'm very pleased but was less so when a 20 minute install finish turned into a much longer operation!
Materials and craftsmanship are first class, not a piece of flimsy junk, like all the others out there. You need to buy here and save time looking elsewhere, because you have found the best.
I have been looking for something that would last then I found the copper dryer vent and ordered it
The vent is made to last looks great I would highly recommend this to everyone thanks
I was looking for a vent that would not be obtrusive. My dryer and bath fans unfortunately vent out onto my patio. I replaced two of the plastic cheap vents with these and love then.
